Where are you from?
I'm from Wirral, a small peninsula just south of Liverpool, UK.

Why did you come to Japan?
I came to Japan to experience a new and interesting culture, meet new people and sample some of the best food in the world.
来日したのは、興味深い文化を新しく体験したかったからです。そして新しい人に出会って、世界の一番いい食べものを試したいと思いました。
What surprised you the most when you first came to Japan?
I was surprised by the courtesy and welcome every time I entered a convenience store.
コンビニで親切丁寧に、歓迎されることは驚きました。
Why do you like teaching?
I enjoy meeting a wide range of students every day and seeing their English ability progress from week to week.
毎週、幅広い生徒に会い、英語力の上達を見るのが楽しいです。
What's great about being a Senior Teacher?
I enjoy working with excellent school counsellors and fellow teachers. Additionally, because I'm based at the same school for most of the week, I can get to know my students better.

Find the most enjoyable way of studying for you. For some students, it's watching films or YouTube videos in English. For others, it's reading books or doing word puzzles. If you enjoy it, you won't want to stop!
一番楽しい学び方を見つけてください。ある生徒さんは、英語の映画かユーチューブを見ています。また他の生徒さんは、英語で本を読むかワードパズルをやるのが好きです。英語が楽しかったら、ずっとやり続けられます!
